Direct Companies Only - Google Search Filter
Last updated: September 5, 2026

Overview

Direct Companies Only ("the Extension") helps you hide directory and listing sites from your Google search results, so you can find direct company websites more easily. This page explains what data the Extension does and does not collect.

Data Collection

The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, or search queries. It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or any external servers.

What the Extension Stores

The Extension saves the following on your own device, using Chrome's built in storage feature:

This information stays on your device, or is synced through your own Google account the same way Chrome syncs your bookmarks. It is never sent to us or to any other party.

How the Extension Works

The Extension only runs on Google search pages. It looks at the search results already loaded in your browser, checks each site against the block list, and hides any matches. It does not read your search terms, does not log anything, and does not send any information anywhere.

Permissions Used

No other permission is used. The Extension cannot see other tabs, files, or websites.

Third Party Sharing

None. No data ever leaves your browser.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not collect any data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
